Wow have we been busy!  We have been working on so many exciting new things that we will be bringing to the site over the next few months.  One new line that is ready for its debut in our boutique is a line of adorable and customizable clothing for girls and boys of all ages from Basic Couture.  Previously only available at trunk shows, Bibs & Cribs is proud to be the first and only boutique that is currently carrying the ever popular Basic Couture line!

Basic Couture is an Austin, TX based one-of-a-kind clothing company that specializes in personalized clothing for infants, boys, girls, moms & dads.  Any item you see by Basic Couture at the Bibs & Cribs boutique can be personalized in a number of different ways, to make for a truly unique clothing item.  All of the inks used are eco-friendly and will fade subtly over several washes giving items that sought after, worn-in vintage look.

Fall is here!  Check out some of the new items that we have added for fall/winter!

 

I love it when I come across new items for baby that make me realize – How did I ever live without this!?  Itzy Ritzy’s new Snack Happened Snack Bags are one of those things.  We received a shipment a few days ago and I just had to try one out for myself.  We all know that reusable is the way to go for our planet, but what about me??  Honestly, if I have to think about having to wash another thing in this house I may scream.  Who am I kidding though; if I can make life enjoyable for my kid, that makes my life easier and if I am doing something good for the environment too, we all win.

The other day I had somewhere to go and needed to bring Hudson along, it was an appointment and I needed him to be quiet and behave.  I needed a distraction, something new and novel and I decided that this would be the perfect time to try out the Snack Happened Snack Bag.  In a word – Genius.  It was exciting for Huddles (he loved eating out of the bag and couldn’t get enough of reaching in to grab his goodies).  Got through my whole appointment peacefully and garnered praise for “having such a well behaved boy”!  No small feat for an active 21 month old!  The bag was a breeze to wash, which to me was the real test.  I just flipped the whole thing inside out, scrubbed with some soap and rinsed.  Stood it up on the counter inside out to dry, and done!  Now this bag comes with us where ever we go.  Bonus is that the bags can be machine washed if need be.  Our test snack consisted of freeze dried strawberries and plain goldfish.  I mention this because those strawberries can leave a nasty red mess but it washed out easily from the inside of the bag.  Huddles’ red face and fingers were another story.

The lining is PVC free and the zipper is lead free.  Good for my kid, good for the planet, and very little work for me!  No wonder these are one of Itzy Ritzy’s hottest selling items.  Snap one up and see for yourself!

Well, we asked and you answered!  Thanks to everyone for your suggestions and ideas on how to make Bibs & Cribs even better.  Due to popular demand, we’re proud to announce the addition of a gift registry to our boutique!  Now when you visit our site you can set up a registry account and add any items that you just can’t live without for your baby on the way or for those celebrating a birthday or holiday.  We have lots of occasions to celebrate!  Friends and family can visit your registry and snap up all the great items that your heart desires.  How sweet!  Enjoy the gift registry and sign up soon.  And remember – check back often to see what we have added, you might just want to add it to your registry too!!!

Bibs & Cribs gift registry major features:

• Ability to search for a registry by registrant or co-registrant.
• Ability to create and manage multiple gift registries for all those special occasions.
• Ability to add gifts to a registry as well as the ability to move items between registries.
• Ability to indicate the gift priority, as well as the ability to add personal comments to potential gift buyers.
• Ability to share the gift registry, via email, with potential gift buyers.
• Provides potential gift buyers with the date of the event, as well as the ability to ship directly to the registry owner.  Additionally, potential gift buyers can choose to have the gift(s) shipped directly to them.
