I love it when I come across new items for baby that make me realize – How did I ever live without this!?  Itzy Ritzy’s new Snack Happened Snack Bags are one of those things.  We received a shipment a few days ago and I just had to try one out for myself.  We all know that reusable is the way to go for our planet, but what about me??  Honestly, if I have to think about having to wash another thing in this house I may scream.  Who am I kidding though; if I can make life enjoyable for my kid, that makes my life easier and if I am doing something good for the environment too, we all win.

The other day I had somewhere to go and needed to bring Hudson along, it was an appointment and I needed him to be quiet and behave.  I needed a distraction, something new and novel and I decided that this would be the perfect time to try out the Snack Happened Snack Bag.  In a word – Genius.  It was exciting for Huddles (he loved eating out of the bag and couldn’t get enough of reaching in to grab his goodies).  Got through my whole appointment peacefully and garnered praise for “having such a well behaved boy”!  No small feat for an active 21 month old!  The bag was a breeze to wash, which to me was the real test.  I just flipped the whole thing inside out, scrubbed with some soap and rinsed.  Stood it up on the counter inside out to dry, and done!  Now this bag comes with us where ever we go.  Bonus is that the bags can be machine washed if need be.  Our test snack consisted of freeze dried strawberries and plain goldfish.  I mention this because those strawberries can leave a nasty red mess but it washed out easily from the inside of the bag.  Huddles’ red face and fingers were another story.

The lining is PVC free and the zipper is lead free.  Good for my kid, good for the planet, and very little work for me!  No wonder these are one of Itzy Ritzy’s hottest selling items.  Snap one up and see for yourself!
